Sergio<br \/>works at a non-profit hospital in Retalhuleu as the General Operations<br \/>Coordinator. The opportunity to help people of limited resources with their<br \/>health problems is what most inspires Sergio to lead well. His biggest challenge<br \/>has been to lead an organization for the public when there is insecurity around<br \/>where and when the resources will come that allow them to meet their service<br \/>goals. In overcoming this challenge, Sergio has found that honesty and the good<br \/>management of the available resources has aided him immeasurably.<br \/>&nbsp;Externally, he has relied on the confidence given him by his Board of<br \/>Directors and the help of an foreign organization called Faith in Practice. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: \" segoe=\"\" ui\",=\"\" sans-serif;\"=\"\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: \" segoe=\"\" ui\",=\"\" sans-serif;\"=\"\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: \" segoe=\"\" ui\",=\"\" sans-serif;=\"\" font-size:=\"\" 10.5pt;=\"\" font-style:=\"\" inherit;\"=\"\">Three things stick out to Sergio as the most powerful lessons of his<br \/>time with ALG. First, the learning of the Circle of Trust, that taught him how<br \/>to respect the space of all humans and, more than anything, taught him how to<br \/>know himself in a more intimate way. The second was simply the lived shared<br \/>experience with the other leaders from across Guatemala in his cohort.
